What is this tool?
The List Tools offer quick operations on lists of items: sort alphabetically (A–Z or Z–A), shuffle (randomize), remove duplicates, and reverse order. Paste one item per line, or use comma or pipe separators. Clean mailing lists, organize keywords, randomize quiz questions, or deduplicate data—all without a spreadsheet or script. The tools run in your browser. Paste your list, pick an operation, and get the result. Copy and use elsewhere.
Sorting puts items in order. A–Z is ascending; Z–A is descending. The sort is typically case-sensitive or follows locale rules—check the tool's behavior. Shuffle randomizes the order; each run produces a different result. Remove duplicates keeps only the first occurrence of each item. Reverse flips the order. Combine operations by running one, then another—e.g. sort, then remove duplicates, or shuffle for a random subset after deduping.
Use it for email lists (remove duplicates, sort), for keyword lists (alphabetize, dedupe), for flash cards (shuffle), or for any ad-hoc list manipulation. The input format is flexible: lines, commas, or pipes. The tool may normalize separators to a consistent format in the output. For large lists (thousands of items), performance may vary; for typical use, it's instant.
All processing is client-side. Your data never leaves your device. No signup, no storage. Paste, transform, copy. For complex operations (filtering by condition, merging lists), a spreadsheet or script might be better; for sort, shuffle, dedupe, and reverse, this tool is fast and sufficient.
