Random Color Generator
Generate cryptographically random colors. All in your browser.
Try it with this example
Click the button for a new random color. Copy the HEX code for your design.
What is this tool?
The Random Color Generator produces a random color with one click. Get a new color in HEX, RGB, or HSL format. Use it for design inspiration, testing color schemes, or placeholder backgrounds. Great when you're stuck on a palette—click until something works. The color is generated from the full RGB space, so you get variety. Copy the HEX code for CSS or design tools. All generation runs in your browser. No server, no storage.
Each click produces a new color. Copy as #RRGGBB (hex), rgb(r, g, b), or hsl(h, s, l). Some generators offer filters: pastel only, dark only, vibrant only. Even without filters, full randomness yields useful ideas. Use the result as a starting point—refine in the Color Picker for exact values. Or use it as-is for placeholder divs, test data, or rapid prototyping.
Use it when brainstorming color schemes. When you need a quick background for a mockup. When teaching color theory—generate a few and discuss. When building a "random theme" feature. The Gradient Generator can use random colors; the Palette from Image extracts from photos. This tool is the simplest: one click, one color. Pairs with the Color Picker for refinement.
All generation is client-side. No API, no tracking. Click, copy, use. Bookmark it for design brainstorming and placeholder colors.
Simple and inspiring.
